Designer Cavamalt Breed Program
My breed program for Cavamalts is a 50/50 mix of my personal pets. My dam is a pure bred Maltese and my sire is a pure bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are dual registered with the ACA Kennel Club & CKC and their puppies are registrable within the designer breed registry at the CKC in Walker Louisiana. My sires and dam are both health tested.
Appearance
Cavamalts have large soulful eyes with medium to long floppy ears giving them a “teddy bear” or “always a puppy” look. They have a coat that is usually wavy with a slight curl and come in a range of different colours including red, gold, cream, white, black and a combination of these colours. They are considered a small or toy size standing approximately 13 inches.
Temperament
Cavamalts have excellent temperaments. They are very similar in nature to the Cavachons & Cavoodle. The Cavamalt is affectionate, loving, and gentle. They are very family oriented. They do best with older, considerate children or with children they have been with from puppy hood. The Cavamalt is non-aggressive but will alert their family to visitors and out of the ordinary sounds
